Overview

The HR Coordinator role is a highly visible role managing the on-boarding and off-boarding processes supporting Philadelphia, PA & Ewing, NJ based HR Business Partners. This role will ensure a smooth experience from offer acceptance through to the employees’ first day for all hires. This role will also manage the off-boarding process for exiting employees, support internship & engineering development programs, perform employee data entry and support HR Business Partners & assist on projects as needed.

 

Additionally, this role will assist the the HRSC customer service representative by providing support and inquiry resolution to all internal and external customers, as well as managing employee personnel files. This position is also responsible for analyzing, maintaining and identifying improvements in the HR processes and systems and updating documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and drive the completion of the on-boarding process:
  • Ensure all pre-hire activities are completed
  • Partner with HRBP and Hiring Manager to develop new hire’s on-boarding plan, new hire announcement, workstation identification, system set-up and technology requests
  • Facilitate completion of all pre-employment screenings (medical, background check, etc.)
  • Complete I-9 and E-verify for each hire
  • Facilitate and drive the completion of the off-boarding process:
    • Manage off-boarding checklist including; collection of resignation letter, communicating with manager and employee of all the necessary steps required including exit interviews, collections of FMC property and employee badge
    • Review separation letter for any considerations and potential liabilities as well as any special handling of final payment. 
  • Responsible for submitting employee data change requests (i.e., complete MDM forms) for employee actions such as new hire, re-hire, change in position, cost center, change in reporting, separations, etc.
  • Responsible for supporting metrics and producing reports from SAP
  • Responsible for the accuracy of employee personnel files through periodic audits and scanning & archiving files
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate information via various channels (phone calls, emails, mail and faxes)
  • Process employment verification requests
  • Identify process improvements, implement changes & maintain documentation
  • Collaborate with colleagues on various projects and initiatives

Required Education

Required Education:

  • BA/BS in HR or related experience

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of experience in HR, recruiting or related field.
  • Excellent technical and computer skills, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, graphs, charts), Word, Powerpoint
  • Strong system skills and familiarity with HRIS (SAP), applicant tracking systems (ATS's), recruiting
  • Familiarity with different HR areas of specialization {i.e. Total Rewards, talent acquisition, etc..}
  • Experience with BlueWorks would be helpful
  • Solid written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential
