Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to build lasting customer relationships by promoting, educating, selling, and supporting Precision Platform technologies directly on the farm.   This position operates within a defined sales geography, working in concert with the Retail Market Managers (RMM) to identify target customers and support retailers in their areas of responsibility.   This position implements grower programs to increase adoption of application technologies across all applicable crop segments.   Additionally, this position works with the FMC Technical Service team to manage product assurance programs. 

Responsibilities

  • Implement grower commitment programs to drive increased adoption of 3RIVE 3D technologies across major crop segments
  • Direct grower engagement to sell, support, and service the system throughout the year
  • Work with the Retail Market Managers (RMM) supporting ag retailers and growers for all equipment related issues, questions, and other support.
  • Work with Product Managers to collect field data, customer testimonials, and images to support marketing messages
  • Work with Precision Platform Product Development Manager to identify new product opportunities
  • Work with Precision Systems Managers to identify applicator improvements and ensure complete systems knowledge to fully support the system with customers

Required Education

  • BS with major in weed science, agronomy, or entomology. 

  • Graduate degree and/or PCA certification a plus.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in application systems, agricultural chemicals or related fields
  • Broad functional knowledge of agricultural application systems, crop protection
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Sense of urgency, passion, commitment, work ethic, and driving for results
  • Able to handle a broad range of issues at the same time with attention to detail and time sensitivity
