Responsibilities

This position supports the President of FMC's Agricultural Solutions Business. The Executive Administrative Assistant will perform the full range of complex administrative and general office duties, including logistics planning for major company events. This position is highly visible and communicates with contacts at all levels in the organization, industry and community. Additionally, this role works with executive/senior management and employees at all levels and does so in a respectful and friendly manner. The successful candidate must have expertise in SAP, MS Office programs such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint and other applications, plus the agility to quickly learn new technology platforms. Finally, it is critical that the person filling this position is extremely trustworthy and can act with discretion to maintain confidentiality when handling business information that has not been disclosed internally or outside of FMC. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support for the President of our Agricultural Solutions Business.
  • Prepares materials for executive and quarterly Operating Committee meetings including managing the planning, development and coordination of communication, agendas, minutes, programs, and logistics.
  • Attend AGS Business Operating Committee meetings as facilitator and action taker to include writing up meeting minutes and being the ongoing manager of the action items.
  • Special project support – work with AGS President and other OC members on capturing work for special projects.
  • Produces and proofs presentation materials.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing electronic communications and phone calls.
  • Responsible for heavy calendar management, requiring interaction with both internal and external executives and assistants, as well as consultants, to coordinate a variety of complex executive meetings.
  • Effectively arrange communications with internal/external sources including other executives and consultants.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel schedule and reservations as needed.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follows through on issues in a timely manner.

Required Education

Associates or college degree

 

Qualifications:

  • At least 8-10 years prior experience required supporting senior-level executives
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong expertise in MS Office programs- PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Experience in SAP
  • Ability to set-up and manage SharePoint sites
  • Ability to learn new technologies and database systems
  • Should be flexible and adaptable to changing environments
  • Ability to deliver results on all projects
  • Position requires a strong customer service disposition
  • Open to working early morning or later hours as needed
