This Registration Specialist position will play an important coordination role in the US regulatory team to realize its objectives and to contribute to the overall success of the US business. The individual will work closely with the Product Registration Managers, as well as Product Development and Marketing, to develop regulatory data, product labels, and other regulatory documentation required for successful federal regulatory outcomes. The Registration Specialist will also be responsible for administration and management of multiple databases and information management systems.


  • Work closely with Product Registration Managers in the preparation, submission and approval of quality US EPA submissions.
    • Coordinates the development of data, labels, and documents for federal regulatory submissions.
    • Build and maintain strong working relationships with US EPA registration reviewers to enable successful regulatory outcomes.
    • Expert in the Pesticide Registration Improvement Act (PRIA) and associated regulatory guidance documents
    • Expertise in NPIRS and other public/private regulatory data management systems.
  • With guidance from Product Registration Managers, ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state pesticide laws and regulations pertaining to the use of products in the US.
  • Works with the State Registration Specialist to ensure timely US state registrations for new and existing products through quality document preparation.
  • Works with other business functions such as Development, Marketing, Legal, and Global Supply Chain to support profitable growth and defense projects.
  • Administers and manages regulatory records and databases and contributes to enhancements to information management.
    • Contributes to and leads process improvements.      
  • Comply with the principles of Responsible Care and promote Product Stewardship.
  • Work in a safe manner and support a safe working environment and security measures in word and in practice.

Required Education


  • Bachelors degree in a technical/scientific field relevant to pesticide regulation, or Bachelors degree and relevant work experience. 


  • Technical/scientific background in discipline relevant to the regulation of pesticides
  • 1-3 years experience in highly regulated sector of the chemical industry, preferably pesticides
  • Strong organizational skills
  • The ability to work with multiple individuals on multiple priority activities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven track record in a cross functional environment.
  • Analytically strong with great attention to details.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with information database administration
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and proofreading software
