    The Asia Pacific Regional Product Stewardship Lead will ensure the responsible and ethical management of FMC Agricultural Solutions’ regional products throughout their lifecycle, from R&D to final disposal. This includes implementing systems, developing standards, and sharing knowledge for responsible product lifecycle management.


    • Lead, promote, and recommend improvements to FMC’s Product Stewardship strategy and programs in the region.
    • Coordinate stewardship training programs in the region. Develop literature, posters, and brochures to support programs and establish review procedures with product development, marketing, sales, and communications teams.
    • Lead the Sustainability Assessment Analyses for new products in region.
    • Proactively identify emerging regional Stewardship challenges and develop and execute strategies to address.
    • Coordinate human health monitoring programs in the region.
    • Investigate and report on regional human, wildlife, and environmental chemical exposure incidents.
    • Actively participate on CropLife Asia’s industry association committees (Product Stewardship, Container Management, and Communication committees), while leading and influencing outcomes in line with FMC’s Stewardship goals and FTO.
    • Manage, develop, and provide strategic direction to regional Stewardship team.
    • Work cross-functionally with business leads for alignment.

    Required Education

    Master’s degree in Agronomy, Biology, Chemistry or Environmental Science with 5-10 years industry experience. Product Stewardship experience is highly preferred.


    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills including critical thinking, problem solving, negotiating, managerial courage, conflict management, composure, customer focus, and organizational agility.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation, facilitation, listening, negotiating, and influencing.
    • Ability to distill, summarize, and effectively communicate complex issues to management and non-technical individuals.
    • Must have a learning mindset, open to new ways of thinking and alternative solutions. Creativity in problem solving is key.
    • Experience working in a matrixed team environment.
    • Able to deliver timely results on projects requiring frequent follow up and input from parallel groups and stakeholders.
    • Exhibits resilience and does not allow the status quo to interfere with driving and achieving results.
