    FMC currently has an internship opportunity for an individual to learn the Tax Accounting and Compliance functions of the organization. The ideal candidate will have some experience with accounting or finance and an interest in learning about the determination and calculation of a Company’s income tax positions through the preparation of analyses and deliverables covering a broad range of Tax Accounting and Compliance disciplines.



    • Manage the tracking of Tax Compliance submissions for foreign subsidiaries
    • Prepare analyses to assist Management with understanding the components of the Global Effective tax rate for the Company
    • Drive process documentation and improvement efforts
    • Prepare excel-based models leveraging OneSource Tax Provision reports for analytical review and discussion purposes working with consolidated financial results of the Company and its subsidiaries
    • Establish a strong working relationship with various business teams; and
    • Assist International Tax or Transfer Pricing teams with ad-hoc requests



    Required Education



    Required Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related discipline;







    • Some Tax, Accounting, Business, Finance, or Audit experience {i.e. intern, co-op, previous jobs}
    • Strong process documentation and communication skills
    • Interest in the relationship between the operations of the Company and the tax environment
    • Desire to drive continuous improvement of financial processes and controls around Tax Accounting and Compliance
    • The ability to adjust one’s interpersonal approach to people and situations as needed in an often challenging and dynamic environment
    • Strong interpersonal skills;
    • Independent and evaluate situations objectively
