FMC Corporation has an opening for a Tax Accounting Analyst to help drive accurate financial reporting from FMC’s International operations and assist in federal and state tax compliance of FMC’s US operations. The Tax Accounting Analyst will join FMC’s Global Tax Accounting team and work on all aspects of tax reporting. Reporting to the Manager of Global Tax Accounting, primary responsibilities include supporting the timely and accurate recording and disclosure of FMC’s global income tax provision in its quarterly and annual financial statements reported externally to shareholders. A key focus of this role will be its responsibilities for participating in the training and educating of International finance team members and reviewing quarterly and year-end tax packages from International operations. Further, this position supports the domestic tax compliance function by liaising with FMC finance teams and FMC’s compliance tax service providers to ensure the timely and accurate submission of all domestic tax filings. The ideal candidate must be comfortable partnering with business operations within the organization to educate, develop and promote the established tax provision processes with business partners, consultants, and other tax team members. To operate in this function successfully with minimal guidance, the position requires an individual with experience in tax accounting for a global corporate enterprise who is well versed in ASC 740 and related guidance.
