    Overview

    FMC, Agricultural Solutions are looking for an experienced Human Resource Representative who has an interest in assuming broader responsibilities in the future. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experience HR Representative to provide administrative support using various HR systems (e.g., Kronos, SAP, talent system - iCIMS ) and processes to a large community.  The successful candidate would take the lead in maintaining, analyzing and trouble-shooting issues in such systems as SAP.  The successful candidate will serve as the liaison between the HR systems and the employees, providing sufficient understanding of the issue and taking the requisite steps to resolve the matter.   The position is located at Stine Research Center, Newark, DE, reporting to the Global R&D HR Manager and assisting with providing general HR support to the employees at the site.

    Responsibilities

    Support HR projects and processes, i.e., salary planning, salary actions, incentives, recruiting, relocation, service awards, recognition (i.e. Cash/Bonus Awards, etc), expert SAP HR user, recruitment and general HR administrative data by maintaining appropriate records and ensuring HR system data accuracy.

      • Provide analytical/reporting support at a local/functional level for staffing, compensation, development etc
      • Manage organization of appropriate HR records.
      • Employee database management to include, activity and record maintenance, data integrity, report writing, troubleshooting, assisting managers in the web interface Self Service.
      • Assist in HR audits for accuracy
      • Coordinate HR support to managers and employees to process HR data for Stine Research Center employees including new hire, termination, transfer data, record changes, etc.
      • Assist with visa processing, international on-loan assignments; Assist to insure timelines of moves, relocation and temporary living.
      • Assist in hiring activities, including posting and advertising of jobs, collecting and responding to resumes, sending offer letters, relocation materials and other required forms, managing the job files, partner with HR Manager in tracking and reporting applicant flow and open position data, as well as, recruiting expenses. Assist with temporary housing needs and all else applicable.
      • Provide HR support to managers & employee groups by addressing HR questions and providing information
      • Manager leave of absence process
      • Training & Development
      • Support the site training activities, including schedule coordination, logistics, invoicing, and training files and records maintenance.
      • Budgets & Recordkeeping
      • Investigation and follow up of problem issues, i.e. invoices/ payments, following up with vendors concerning payments or problem.
      • Vendor set-up and invoice payment
      • Participation in special projects as needed

    Required Education

    Bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field or equivalent education, training and experience.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum three (3) years of experience in human resource field
    • Familiarity with employment law and other government compliance regulations.
    • Strong track record of delivering viable solutions to the organization to drive an inclusive, diverse work environment
    • Interest in continual improvement and openness to feedback
    • Strong interpersonal and communication experience with the ability to interact with a diverse population.
    • Basic understanding of business.
    • Attention to detail and understanding of the impact of results with the ability to integrate information in order to accurately understand and apply to an overall procedure and/or process.
    • Deadline and customer service oriented
    • Experience in consulting and managing key relationships, with the ability to work interdependently within a team.
    • Experience in critically evaluating issues, developing solutions and implementing solutions with follow-up to ensure accuracy
    • Excellent computer skills with the ability to quickly learn and proficiently use new applications and systems and be comfortable solving minor desktop issues.
    • Familiarity with general HR systems, terminology and processes. SAP HR desired
    • Experience in maintaining confidentiality.
