    Account Manager,  South Saskatoon; The successful candidate will be responsible to manage the assigned Canadian strategic account relationships, working with area management to set the account strategies, and to execute the day-to-day operations as a member of the sales team.


    • Maintain appropriate frequency of executive/senior management customer contact, build and maintain effective relationships
    • Contribute to the formation of FMC marketing strategies, communication strategies and distributor sales programs
    • Identify and communicate customer needs to FMC and influence FMC response
    • Prepare and deliver effective sales and marketing presentations
    • Time and territory management prepare call plans, call reports, correspondence, account planning & account penetration – executive alignment
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities with emphasis on return on investment
    • Manage interface between customer and FMC organization
    • Monitor competitor activity, ensuring appropriated response strategies are formulated and communicated
    • Participates and directs sales strategies for distributor accounts in the territory
    • Ensure sales objectives are met, forecasted & aligned w. Financial Objectives for assigned territory
    • Expense Management


    Required Education

    • Bachelor of Science in agricultural field


    • 5-10 years Canadian Ag business experience in the distribution channel
    • 3-7 years of experience in customer relationship management 
    • Strong business acumen and leadership skills
    • Must be detail oriented, results focused and a self-starter with strong follow up skills
    • Strong presentations, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrated performance in delivering business results
    • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving, ability to determine solutions for customers
    • Leadership  team player abilities at all levels
    • Strong financial background
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software 
    • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills




    Majority of travel within the territory with the expectation of 20-25% nights away including Canadian Team meetings.
