    Responsibilities

    This position supports the Global Procurement Group by providing business process and data analysis, recommendations, managing of procurement tools, and support for monthly, quarterly and annual procurement metrics and reporting.

     

    This is a job family being defined as a series of progressively higher, related jobs distinguished by levels of knowledge, skills, and abilities (competencies) and other factors.

     

     

     Responsibilities:

    • Provide Strategic Analysis in modeling opportunities to assess risk and recommend procurement decisions

    • Develop and compile key operating metrics including, but not limited to the following; generation of reports, monthly tracking, highlighting variances and analyzing the effects on the Global Procurement Group.
    • Key facilitator between business & IT to define/refine data standards for materials categorization to ensure integrity of key processes and procurement metrics supporting Indirect and Direct Category Managers and Operations
    • Key facilitator between business & IT for key procurement tools (Spend Analytics, Savings Tracker, Sharepoint, Business Intelligence)
    • Responsible to support the gathering of data and analyzing data in an efficient and customized manner based on category requirements
    • Support Category & Regional Managers in data requests including the identification, development and management of tools while maintaining the integrity of the data to support ongoing needs and long-term category management
    • Produce reports to support the interpretation and analysis of data to make sourcing decisions
    • Responsible for compiling and reporting diversity spend
    • Responsible for compiling and consolidation of data to support standard cost process
    • Responsible for developing training materials, onboarding and conducting training for the Global Procurement Group related to spend analytics, excel, savings tracker, SAP, and budget standards process.

     

    Required Education

    Bachelor of Science Undergraduate degree in Business related fields or IT or Engineering preferred.

    Qualifications

     Qualifications:
    • 3-5 plus years of experience in data management and analysis
    • 2-3 years of general procurement functional experience with a heavy concentration in sourcing, procurement or supply chain
    • Thorough understanding and expertise in data manipulation, sorting and analysis tools (Access, Excel, SAP, BI, etc.)
    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, statistics knowledge and experience required
    • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a matrix organization, for example demonstrated by work on project teams or cross functional teams
    • Familiarity with B2B, e-sourcing tools a plus
    • Expertise in SAP (or equivalent ERP) data tables and SAP MM experience required
    • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
    • Results oriented; ability to work independently on several projects at the same time
