The Lithium Technology Center provides technical support for business level projects and initiatives. The mission of the Technology Center is to maintain process technology excellence and ensure a strong technical foundation to enable:
The Technical Center Global Improvement Leader - Battery Supply Chain Technologies and Process Safety and Improvement will have direct responsibility for improvement engineers who are embedded in the manufacturing sites for the manufacturing units aligned with the Battery Supply Chain: Selective Absorption, Lithium Chloride, Lithium Carbonate (in Argentina), Lithium Hydroxide (in Bessemer City and China) and Lithium Metal (in Bessemer City). This position will also be responsible for operational excellence initiatives across those units. As a member of the Business Process Safety Network, you will collaborate with the Process Safety professionals to execute the Process Safety Plan for the units.
This position requires significant travel or temporary living arrangements, often for extended periods, to individual project sites. FMC can be flexible about travel, living, and relocation arrangements for the ideal candidate.
