    Overview

    This role will work within the Supply Chain Organization to provide support for the supply planning processes, related metrics and reporting. This individual is responsible for metrics creation and reporting, updating, root cause analysis, and providing summaries of analytical modeling.

    Through documented understanding of supply, constraints, and capacity, this role will provide support to develop, maintain, and adjust an achievable supply plan in monthly buckets as part of the monthly S&OP process.  The candidate is expected to have experience in supply chain planning and execution. This role will support the Global S&OP Manager to ensure there is alignment with business, financial and customer service level objectives. This position will be responsible for working to drive efficiencies in planning processes.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform data analysis and understand patterns, inconsistencies, step changes etc. on key S&OP metrics and escalate issues to leadership.
    • Create and maintain a viable supply plan for each product line and key raw materials with consideration for constraints, demand, and working capital.
    • Collect, measure, and report monthly supply chain metrics and deviations in line with approved policies. Including plant performance to schedule, inventory target compliance, etc.
    • Partner with manufacturing sites or suppliers to ensure plans are feasible and balanced.
    • Role will aid in the development and continuous improvement of S&OP reporting metrics
    • Develop understanding of the supply strategy (Source/Make/Buy/Deliver) for each product line by working with supply chain, logistics, procurement and manufacturing
    • Manage product allocation when necessary.
    • Communicate findings and recommendations to the appropriate stakeholders.
    • Drive rapid resolution on any open and potential issues.

    Required Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, business or relevant discipline required
    • APICS CPIM certification preferred

    Qualifications

    • A safety mindset
    • 3+ years experience in a supply chain, IT or manufacturing role.
    • Have a good understanding of supply chain concepts, practices and standards
    • Experience using ERP software and supply chain systems, SAP preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to gather, manipulate, interpret, and analyze data skillfully, and ability to translate raw data into intelligent and actionable insights
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills to drive performance measurement and improvement
    • Attention to Detail (understands when data does not make sense and investigates)
    • Ability to understand and learn new systems quickly
    • Ability to prioritize multiple, competing requests/tasks
    • Strong Excel and database skills required
