    The HR Operations Manager provides management of all aspects of human resources technology and global operations—strategy, analytics/data reporting and applicable policies—while ensuring alignment with the broader human resources, business and financial objectives of the organization.


    The HR Operations Manager reports to the HR Director, Total Rewards and Operations. This position has a staff overseeing systems and data management and payroll.


    • In collaboration with HR leadership, ensure HR technology aligned with the overall business plans, determine future needs as the business evolves.
    • Develop and maintain HR metrics and dashboards for Leadership and the HR to monitor human capital performance.
    • Manipulate and analyze large data sets to distill insights connect disparate ideas into cohesive messaging. Employ consulting skills and business acumen to advise business leaders on opportunities to drive global people decisions
    • Verify that appropriate resources (technology and personnel, including vendors) are in place to support business objectives based on business requirements.
    • Ensure human resources technology end users (e.g., human resources business partners, admins, recruiters and managers) are appropriately trained and updated on the technology.
    • Identify inefficiencies, cost reductions or needed system improvements. Develop and execute mitigation plans.
    • Ensure proper documentation of processes related to policies, systems and technology.
    • Collaborate with HR leadership in the development of a global payroll strategy, consolidating payroll providers.
    • Oversee and lead effective project management for human resources system upgrades, integrations and implementations.
    • Ensure the execution of appropriate data governance for human resources systems/ platforms and associated human resources and financial data. 
    • Make certain human resources-related information being fed into the various enterprise financial/information technology systems is accurate and in compliance with management guidelines and applicable regulatory agencies.
    • Lead and oversee the management of all relevant agency and vendor relationships including vendor selection, renewals and licensure.

    Required Education

    Undergraduate degree with educational concentration in information technology, engineering, human resources, business administration or a related field is preferred. MBA or advanced degree is desired or equivalent work experience.


    • 7 - 10 years of progressively responsible experience within HR including employee data management, HR systems implementation/management, reporting/analytics and payroll; and/or human resource information technology management (HRIS, HRIT or HRTMS);
    • Advanced Excel skills and experience with HR systems with ability to learn quickly, ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
    • Knowledge of and proficiency with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) strongly preferred
    • Capable of translating business priorities into HR programs, processes and initiatives that drive value and meet the business needs.
    • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and enhance organizational effectiveness.
    • Excellent project management leadership skills including the critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
