    Overview

    The Product Registration Manager for FMC Global Specialty Solutions is accountable for the development and implementation of regulatory strategies and tactical plans to grow and defend products in our Consumer Solutions business segment. In this capacity, the Registration Manager will support the Consumer segment in close collaboration with Product Development, Marketing, Global Regulatory and Supply Chain functions.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Drive the development and execution of regulatory strategies and tactical plans for registration of products in the US and Canada
    • Leads the preparation, submission and approval of quality US EPA and Canadian PMRA submissions.

    • Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state and provincial pesticide laws and regulations pertaining to the sale and distribution of Specialty products in the US and Canada.

    • Understand the initiatives that shape the regulatory environment for the industry.  Maintain awareness of key regulatory issues and recommend actions in advance of competitive pressure.

    • Comply with the principles of Responsible Care and promote Product Stewardship.

    • Make safety a key consideration of all activities.

    • Work in a safe manner and support a safe working environment for both self and others. Comply with all FMC safety and security policies.

     

    Required Education

    •  Bachelor's degree, typically from the science disciplines

    Qualifications

    • Technical/scientific background and experience relevant to the regulation of pesticides.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with multiple individuals on priority activities

    • Strong attention to detail with deadline and customer service orientation.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence for positive outcomes.

    • Strong negotiation skills.  

    • Ability to travel (10%)
