    Overview

    The HRIS Data Governance & Privacy Leader will be primarily responsible for the management of the HR systems and processes including but not limited to access, audits, testing, data governance, data privacy and system enhancements. This role also serves as a core participant and/or project lead in various global initiatives such as shared services, operational processes and system redesigns.

    1. Data Governance & Privacy

    • Responsible for ensuring employee data is secure, protected, properly handled, and classified appropriately
    • Drive data integrity, quality and audits
    • Create and maintain data definitions, process documentation, data governance tools and security access
    • Ensure and support all required compliance and regulations (i.e., SOX, GDPR)
    • Primary contact for matters related to the Data Privacy Office and compliance management systems
    • Review, analyze and prioritize data and system enhancement request
    • Security administration including the review of access requests and coordination of security access across systems

    2. HRIS Analysis

    • Oversee system projects and enhancements including planning, developing test scripts, conducting testing and implementation
    • Maintain an effective partnership with HRIT
    • Develop documentation, guides and training material for end users
    • Drive system standardization, simplification, optimization and training
    • Provide HRIS production support, including identifying, researching, and resolving issues
    • Technical point of contact for HR and Centers of Excellence

    3. Other Responsibilities:

    • Develop user procedures, process flows, guidelines and documentation
    • Recommend process improvements
    • Develop service center tools and systems such as knowledge bases
    • Participate in the enhancement and establishment of shared services globally to transform to a centralized service delivery model
    • Responsible for developing and maintaining intranet sites
    • Ad hoc project support as needed

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 8-10 years work experience working with HR systems and data (SAP preferred)
    • Knowledge of Data Privacy legislation (GDPR preferred)
    • Experience in HR Shared Service model
    • Expertise in HR data governance
    • Prior experience utilizing business process optimization methodologies, developing procedure manuals, process flows, KPIs and SLAs
    • Deep understanding of HR business processes and practices
    • Proven track record leading projects, process improvements and testing
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels within the organization
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently, prioritize and deliver results
    • Ability to multi-task and adapt to a changing environment
    • Solid understanding of reporting/query tools, Visio, Blueworks, SAP, SuccessFactors, Tableau
    • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint
