    Overview

    Are you a high-energy and innovative candidate who wants to grow within an organization?   FMC has an awesome opportunity for someone that wants to join our rock star Human Resources team as an HR Coordinator.   The HR Coordinator role is a highly visible role managing the on-boarding and off-boarding process and providing HR administrative support to Philadelphia, PA and Newark, DE based HR Business Partners.   This role will ensure that a smooth experience from offer acceptance through to the employees first day. This role will also manage the off-boarding process for exiting employees, support internship and engineering development programs, perform employee data entry, and support the HR Business Partners. This position will be responsible for handling sensitive and confidential information, requiring a strong degree of judgement.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

     

    Talent Acquisition/On-Boarding

    • Assist with the implementation and enhancement of onboarding process, such as coordinating new hire schedules, facilitating new hire orientations, and processing paperwork through SAP
    • Manage and track all incoming new hire paperwork and ensure all documentation is complete
    • Ensure all records and HR-related documentation are on file and compliant with applicable laws
    • Communicate to ensure relevant departments are properly notified of new hires and new hire information is entered into appropriate systems
    • Verification of I-9’s and maintains that they are current

    Off-Boarding

    • Facilitate and drive the completion of the off-boarding process:
      • Manage off-boarding checklist including the collection of resignation letter, communication with the manager and employee of all the necessary steps including: exit interviews, collection of FMC assets, and employee badge
      • Review separation letter for any consideration and potential liabilities as well as any special handling of final payment

    Administrative Support

    • Create, organize, and maintain confidential filing system (both electronic and hard copy files) for employee files
    • Assist in the collection and monitoring of relevant HR documentation
    • Assist with the coordination of breakfast with a leader
    • Assist with talent review preparation, such as completing talent dashboards, scheduling sessions, and development notes
    • Provide support during the annual compensation cycle
    • Updating and maintenance of employee changes including the creation of corresponding data input forms for entry into SAP
    • Maintain and update headcount tracker
    • Handling documentation of a highly confidential nature specific to employee data
    • Responsible for supporting metrics and producing reports from SAP
    • Leave of Absence tracker
    • Support HR projects as needed

    Required Education

    Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or business-related field

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 1-2 years of HR-support experience
    • Excellent administrative skills, including good organization, ability to proactively follow-up on ongoing projects, and attention to detail
    • Stellar written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrated judgement and ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters effectively.
    • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
    • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS Systems
    • Professional, positive, and client-focused demeanor
    • Demonstrated ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner and reprioritize accordingly to meet immediate needs
    • Experience with SAP is preferred, but not required
    • Demonstrated interest in continuing to learn and apply those learnings
    • Effective in team environment and demonstrated ability to work independently
