    Overview

    The Finance Lead will provide independent support to the R&D & Global Portfolio Strategy Finance Director (FD) related to the Global Projects and will be an integral part of the FMC R&D & Global Portfolio Finance Team.  

    Responsibilities

    • Financial modeling for product innovation (PI) projects (NPV, ROI, etc.)
    • Financial modeling for diverse marketing analysis to help on the decision making
    • Issue global sales reports for the different marketing segments to provide financial analysis (deviations, trends, etc.) to the Global Portfolio Managers
    • Design and issue a monthly financial reporting package for FD, including project summaries
    • Prepare quarterly project reports as well as business trends for the marketing segment
    • Serve as a member of the R&D & Global Portfolio Finance team, attending calls/ meetings and providing financial guidance when necessary
    • Prepare financial slides for the FD presentations to Ag and Corporate management.
    • Regional NPI analysis for Different marketing segments
    • Monitor prices globally for the products in different marketing  segments and provide information to the Portfolio Managers that can help them shape the AI strategies
    • Assist in the design and implementation of any new process due to the integration.
    • Assist in the design and implementation of any new project management or reporting system.
    • Provide day to day financial support to Global Portfolio managers.
    • Special projects as assigned including projects initiated by FMC Ag Philadelphia

    Required Education

    Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting required

    MBA- Finance concentration is a plus, but it is not required

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Strong financial Modeling acumen  
    • Solid understanding of accounting and skilled in financial analysis  
    • Demonstrated skills in financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
    • Minimum of 7 years “relevant” experience in financial functions preferred
    • Minimum of 3 years “relevant” experience in financial modeling
    • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a complex global organization
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve business processes
    • Demonstrated ability to have an impact through business and/or financial leadership
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and tenacity for bringing issues/projects to closure
    • Self-starter who is results and improvement-oriented.  Ability to take initiative, work independently or as a member of team, and report back at milestones
    • Excellent computer skills particularly power point and excel and SAP
    • Strong communication skills
