    The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for working with and making sure that the various tasks assigned to the Shipping/Receiving Department are completed according to FMC and Regulatory standards. This position has a number of responsibilities in the Shipping/Receiving Department as it relates to, but not restricted to the following:


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Execute daily plant priorities, specifically as it pertains to material requirements
    • Move material within plant by safe operation of a forklift, pallet jack, or company vehicle
    • Pull and put away materials in their assigned location(s), including but not limited to warehouse spaces, hotboxes, and production staging areas
    • Stage and pull orders, per BOL & Department paperwork instructions
      • Verify paperwork and quantities on inbound shipments
      • Acquire signatures as required on in/outbound shipments
    • Load and unload trucks, containers and LTL shipments
      • Label shipments in accordance with DOT and FMC requirements
      • Check condition of packaging on all outgoing shipments
      • Collect samples of incoming raw materials as required (excluding technical)
      • Block/brace shipments
    • Load and unload bulk trucks, such as solvents (ie/A200, Nusolv, etc)
    • Housekeeping and organization of the materials within the warehouse
    • Participate in physical inventory, counts  and audits
    • Complete all assigned department documents, including but not limited to:
      • Unloading/loading tally sheet(s)
      • Shift Turnover Checklist
      • Warehouse Utilization metrics
    • Accurately complete assigned cycle counts
    • Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or  other
    • Follow and enforce C-TPAT Requirements
      • Complete loading tally
      • Enforce the truck inspection criteria
      • Sign Paperwork

    Safety, Health, and Environment

    • Performs job duties in a manner that supports the belief that all jobs can be performed safely and that no job is worth doing that would risk the health, safety, or welfare of the plant employees or community
    • Follows all applicable RCRA, SPCC, and Hazmat rules and procedures and instructs others to do the same
    • Encouraged to read and ask questions about safety materials such as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
    • Follows all safety rules and procedures and instructs other personnel and\or visitors in the area to do the same
    • Participates in scheduled and unscheduled safety meetings to raise safety awareness in work areas
    • Participates in safety programs throughout the plant
    • Participates in incident investigations identifying root causes and appropriate corrective action to improve safety and environmental performance in areas


      Responsible Care Management Systems (RCMS)

    • Understands supports, participates and strictly adheres to site standards, policies and procedures relevant to safety, industrial hygiene, and security/CTPAT requirements and environmental
    • Promotes the belief that all jobs can be performed safely and that no job is worth doing that would risk the health, safety, or welfare of the plant employees or community

    Required Education

    High School education, additional education preferred


    • SAP skills preferred
    • Forklift experience
    • Microsoft and computer skills,  required
    • Dependable, Good Attendance
    • Self starter
    • Detail oriented
    • Able to work flexible hours
    • Able to work in an environment with minimal supervision
