    Overview

    The Legal Department is seeking a self-driven, dedicated team player to support our global legal operations.  

     

    This work requires exercising considerable independent judgment and initiative in ensuring the achievement of legal department objectives, performed under the general supervision of the Legal Operations Manager.

    Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will:

    • Be motivated, creative, results oriented and able to independently follow through to task or project completion
    • Be able to marshal resources in an environment with changing priorities
    • Can manage multiple activities simultaneously to accomplish a goal while maintaining composure
    • Have outstanding process documentation skills
    • Be interested in continuous learning and training
    • Able to bridge the gap between technical and legal requirements for various systems and processes
    • Be well-versed in managing legal systems generally, with particular emphasis on those systems applicable to international operations
    • Cost tracking of projects to budget

    Responsibilities:

    • Serves as a SME related to operation of all legal systems and maintenance of same
    • Work with users to ascertain needs and support legal projects
    • Provide training, advice and feedback on management of internal legal systems
    • Manage technical side of legal training and communication deployments, utilizing both internal and external systems.
    • Assist with management and training around third party due diligence systems.
    • Provide database support for corporate transactions
    • Work with staff to develop and maintain contract management database
    • Handle various administrative tasks, ad-hoc legal and compliance projects
    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree in information Technology, Computer Sciences or related academic area.

    Qualifications

    • The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a legal environment with a multi-national corporation
    • Highly organized, detail oriented and able to follow through on assignments
    • Demonstrated ability to work successfully with other departments to advance organizational goals
    • Excellent team player and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality
    • A confident, but flexible personality
    • Capacity to work well with employees across all departments
    • Strong technical skills, particularly around database management
    • Demonstrate general legal system knowledge
    • Experience with the operation of legal systems and maintenance.
    • Experience managing technical side of legal training and communication deployments.
    • Experience with providing database support for corporate transactions.
    • Experience developing and maintaining a contract management database.
    • Preferred candidates will have experience with the following Legal software systems (database) SAI Global, Navex Policy Tech, Legal tacker (Serengeti), Factiva, Amber Road, Diames, CPi, Navex Ethics Hotline, hCue,
