    Overview

    FMC Corporation is seeking a motivated team member to implement and enhance supply chain planning solutions within an SAP environment. The scope of this position requires a solid understanding of supply chain business processes and available technology solutions. He/she will employ business and IT skills to design, build, deliver, and troubleshoot world-class solutions in a partnership approach with FMC business leadership. The Supply Chain Business Process Analyst must be able to work independently and transmit a strong sense of confidence in helping the business achieve their vision of a successful business transformation.

     

    The Supply Chain Process Analyst role requires application of business knowledge and packaged solution expertise to effectively deliver process capabilities. The Supply Chain Process Analyst is responsible for working in conjunction with business leadership to understand and document requirements, define functional and technical solutions, evaluate available solutions; define acceptance criteria and test strategies, develop required configuration/system settings, direct programming resources in the delivery of technical solutions, assist in testing responsibilities, work with business constituents on user acceptance testing and sign-off, define and manage the development of training material and system process documentation, manage assigned project management responsibilities, and report on status and progress on a regular basis. 

    Responsibilities

    Position Responsibilities:

     

    • Partners with end users, IT colleagues, and vendors to map supply and demand planning business processes on supply chain planning systems; monitors and troubleshoots all stages of the planning cycle at a detailed technical level; and drives plan confidence and accuracy through system reliability and up-time. Systems deployed will include Logility Voyager interfaced to SAP ECC6/BW, and SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) on S/4HANA.
    • Facilitates supply chain planning business process innovation by evolving the global process and application configuration to achieve business objectives and alignment towards Chemical Industry best practices.
    • Participates in Business Process Modernization program to implement, test, and train and support end users on SAP IBP through a three-stage global roll-out.
    • Maintains and supports the Control-M batch processing network that interfaces Logility to SAP-ECC and SAP-BW.
    • Independently identifies opportunities for business process standardization and improvement and builds business case to encourage the business to implement these solutions.
    • Ensures functional business requests are consistent with the CIT governance strategy and the IT business support model.
    1. Ensures results are obtained to satisfy client requirements and that the new business processes operate effectively and efficiently in the integrated system environment.
    2. Effectively communicates significant changes to colleagues and the end user community in a timely manner and within a multi-cultural environment.
    3. Documents business procedures relating to new functionality, up-to-date configuration, and end user training materials.
    • Effectively leads a small project or acts as functional lead on a segment of a larger project:
    • Follows standard project methodology
    • Considers impact of project on existing Sarbanes Oxley controls
    • Develops and manages the plan for their segment of the project
    • Coordinates the work for and motivates other resources to meet project objectives
    • Performs configuration and develops program specifications required to meet the project objectives

    Identifies potential issues, which may impede delivering on business requirements, bringing those issues to the attention of the functional team leader or project sponsor and driving to resolution to obtain business results

    Required Education

    • BS Degree, preferably in a technical discipline or the relevant functional discipline (Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Logistics) and/or equivalent years of business experience.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum five years of working experience; three years must be in a technical (IT) position
    • Strong knowledge of supply chain business processes (e.g. supply planning, master scheduling, demand planning, sales and operations planning, inventory planning, network planning, etc.) sufficient to be credible and influential with management and partners
    • Strong knowledge and experience with Logility Voyager
    • Knowledge and experience with one or more additional business processes and SAP modules is desirable (Materials Management, Manufacturing, Order Management, Business Warehouse, etc.)
    • Knowledge of Control-M and SQL programming
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills to communicate with non-technical clients, IT professionals, and management
