    FMC Australasia is at the forefront of launching new technology from a world-class R&D pipeline. A unique opportunity has emerged to join the team as the Head of Marketing to lead the organization in new product launch capability, developing new market insights, and engaging with customers and experts to enhance commercial impact of our current portfolio within the Australian Ag market.



    The Head of Marketing is a strategic marketing position responsible for developing and executing global, regional and country-specific marketing plans, both short and long range. This role is crucial to the delivering of the growth objectives for the ANZ business including the launch of new products and reinvigorating marketing strategies for the existing portfolio. The position will lead a team consisting of portfolio specific and operational marketing professionals, providing them with strategic direction, proven expertise, and leadership.


    • Managing the full portfolio of FMC products across ANZ region
    • Developing and implementing marketing strategies for new and existing products; utilizing best practices globally within FMC and within adjacent markets
    • Developing and managing the branding for various key assets
    • Leading the external communication strategy and corporate branding initiatives in close collaboration with the Country Head
    • Collaboration with Regional and Global Marketing in marketing strategies and positioning of new and existing products
    • Overseeing implementation of the Marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR
    • Collaboration with Finance and Head of Sales in the management of pricing for FMC products
    • Managing the 4 months plus forecasting within S&OP and leading the long-range planning process with inputs from the Commercial Management Team
    • Developing market intelligence through continuous analysis of competitive environment and market trends
    • Close collaboration with the Sales team enabling the successful achievement of sales targets
    • Provide leadership and guidance on the day to day activities of the marketing team; shape the team for continuously evolving needs of the organization as it grows
    • Active participation in the local Leadership Team as a leader of the overall business; developing and mentoring talent, setting an example of cross-functional leadership, and challenging thinking and current ways of working.

    Travel (domestic and international) is required.

    Required Education

    • Bachelor degree or above in Business or Marketing related discipline


    • Strong knowledge and experience in developing, managing and executing marketing strategies for new venture launch and through the product life cycle and managing mature products
    • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a broad range of marketing areas with recent experiences focused on strategic marketing management and digital communications
    • Experience in the Agricultural Chemicals or Agricultural industry is preferred
    • Experienced in development and implementation of digital strategy
    • Experience in managing a regional/global network of marketing professionals
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and stakeholder management skills
    • Collaborative approach whilst being solution/results driven
    • Strong sense of accountability
    • Possess strong organisational awareness and financial acumen
