FMC is looking for a motivated researcher to undertake Nematicide Discovery research and coordinate its Quality Management (QM) Program in Discovery Biology (DB).


  • Use existing screening assays and develop data capturing methods utilizing new technologies for nematicide screens
  • Develop novel assays to evaluate nematicides
  • Lead the implementation and design of QM processes and activities,
  • Lead the QM technical team across different biology screens,
  • Lead activities with discovery biology principal investigators to institute QM objectives and to develop projects aimed at improvement,
  • Consult with discovery biology technical group Managers about program goals, and
  • Review and plan program goals with the discovery biology Director.

Required Education

  • MS in a biological science with 5 or more years of experience in Nematology research. PhD degree holders with relevant experience will be given priority (Nematology knowledge and lab research theory)


  • Technical Writing - the ability to communicate clearly in writing is very important. The Program Coordinator (PC) interacts with scientists, IT personnel and technical leaders and needs to receive information, evaluate it, and formulate plans to move the program forward.
  • Demonstrated skill in designing and conducting biological research in Nematology.
  • Demonstrated skill in research data analysis and presentation.
  • Experience in ISO or other QM technology(ies).
  • Experience developing assays
  • Experience analyzing data and creating technical reports
