The Global R&D and Global Regulatory FP&A Business Partner will be responsible for all aspects of financial planning and analysis for these global functions. The business partner will be responsible for working closely with the VP of R&D / Chief Technology Officer and the VP of Regulatory Affairs to develop budgets and forecasts and to ensure transparent spend tracking and reporting. The role also oversees the evaluation and analysis of the economic value of the R&D pipeline including supporting business case analytics. The economic outlook for the R&D pipeline is regularly reviewed with the company’s senior management. The role is responsible for working with the global FP&A Center of Excellence (COE) to ensure the R&D and regulatory spend areas are accurately reflected in the consolidated planning and reporting processes. The role has a direct report and will have access to FP&A COE resources to help develop standard reporting and analyses for the spend areas. The total annual spend in the areas of responsibility is approximately $350M.
